Taylor has won a whopping 14 Grammys after taking home two more trophies at the 2024 awards ceremony.

During the 2021 show, which recognized music from the past year, Folklore was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, “Cardigan” was nominated for Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, “Exile” was named in the category for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and “Beautiful Ghosts” from the movie Cats received the nom for Best Song Written for Visual Media.

Taylor surpassed the 50 nominations mark in 2024 when she added six nominations to her incredible roster, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year for “Anti-Hero.” While Taylor is already tied with Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder and Paul Simon for most Album of the Year wins with three apiece, she took over the top spot with her 10th studio album, Midnights.

The songstress made history when she won the biggest award of the night for the fourth time for her album Midnights in February 2024. While her Album of the Year trophy marked her 14th time taking home an award, earlier that night Taylor dropped a bombshell while accepting the award for Best Pop Vocal Album.

“OK. This is my 13th grammy. Which is my lucky number, I don’t know if I’ve ever told you that. I wanna say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand new album comes out April 19. It’s called The Tortured Poets Department,” she said.

In November 2024, Taylor revealed that TTPD had been nominated for a whopping six Grammys.

“You guys did something so amazing over the course of the last few months [with] what you did with embracing Tortured Poets Department,” Taylor told the Toronto crowd during her November 14, 2024, show. “It’s truly blown my mind. It’s really emotional for me because this album; I wrote it during the Eras tour. I wrote the album, made the album — all trying to keep it a secret from you guys and then announced the album and was, basically, working really hard to secretly put together a new chapter in the Eras tour of Tortured Poets Department and we wanted to surprise you with it.”

She continued, “You guys have just been so wonderful about digging into this album and just really understanding where I was coming from and you made it, by far, the greatest debut week I’ve ever had with an album. You kept that album at No. 1 for nearly four months and most recently what you did — because everything that happens is a direct reflection of the passion you show — is you guys got this album nominated for six Grammys!”

Needless to say, it’s been a whirlwind. “It’s pretty wild how much time has passed since my first Grammy nomination. I still feel pretty lucky to still be a part of this night,” Taylor previously told Entertainment Tonight in March 2021. “I think the advice I would give myself when I was younger is probably to, when things get hard, always focus in on how much I love music.”

“That has been the thing that, no matter what, has protected me from any of the other outside things that have made me feel strange,” she added. “I’ve never had a problem with the general fact of making music or playing music. I’ve never stopped loving it. It’s been the outside stuff that has made me feel down at times.”

Keep slaying, Tay!
