Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown took a shot at teammate Jalen Hurts after the team’s 22-16 home win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

Even though the Eagles moved closer to the NFC East division crown with a ninth straight victory, AJ Brown wasn’t exactly pleased after the game. The star wideout finished with only four catches for 43 yards and no touchdowns in the six-point victory.

Speaking to reporters after the game, the 27-year-old was asked what the Eagles’ offense can improve on. Brown kept his offense shot and simple.

“Passing,” he said.

AJ Brown was also seen slamming his helmet at one point of the game, which he stated was out of discontent with a three-and-out.

At any rate, the Eagles got the victory and clinched their fourth consecutive playoff berth. The offense has been flying high all season long, so it’s an encouraging sign that they can still win games when the offense has a sloppy outing like they did today.

Brown’s frustrations are understood, especially since it looked like the Panthers would potentially steal a victory on the road. But even the best offensive units have their off days, and what ultimately matters is that Philly got the job done.

There’s little reason to think their offense will be a concern going forward. Saquon Barkley is having an MVP-like season, and there still aren’t many better receiving duos than Brown and DeVonta Smith.
