The Oklahoma native would have to meet one of the following conditions while his rookie contract is still running: Make two All-Star teams, make two All-Star teams, or win MVP. Trae Young already has one All-Star appearance in 2020, so he is in line for a significant raise.
If Trae Young is named to the 2022 All Star roster, the Atlanta Hawks will have to spend a lot more money on their star player.
